San Mateo Avenue Sewer and Water UPDATE
Work is progressing - BUT much still needs to be done

UPDATE – March 8, 2018
The contractor working on the San Mateo Avenue Water and Sewer Replacement Project has installed a total of approximately 1,630 feet of sewer pipe and 7 sewer manholes. Sewer work between Jenevein Avenue and El Camino Real is underway. Sidewalk will be temporarily obstructed during construction of this project. Businesses continue to be open during their normal hours. Once the sewer pipeline is completed at the end of March, the contractor will begin construction of the water pipeline from El Camino Real towards Angus Avenues. Similar road closure segments will be performed for the water pipeline construction. The project is anticipated to be complete during the summer 2018, weather depending.
ACTUALIZACIÓN - 8 de marzo de 2018
El contratista del Proyecto de Reemplazo de Agua y Alcantarillado de la Avenida San Mateo ha instalado un total de aproximadamente 1,630 pies de tubería de alcantarillado y 7 pozos de alcantarillado. El trabajo de alcantarillado entre Avenida Jenevein y El Camino Real está en marcha. La acera se obstruirá temporalmente durante la construcción de este proyecto. Los negocios continúan abiertos durante sus horas normales. Una vez que el alcantarillado se complete a fines de marzo, el contratista comenzará la construcción de la tubería de agua desde El Camino Real hacia Avenida Angus.
