The County of San Mateo strives to provide multiple touch points and opportunities to engage the community and increase civic participation. We hold public meetings, provide opportunities to serve on a board or commission, and offer an annual class for San Mateo County residents to learn more about County programs, services and finances. We also engage with the press and disseminate news and information on a regular basis through articles posted to our Newsroom, a biweekly news bulletin emailed directly to your inbox, social media posts, and a comprehensive website with transparency tools to view our open data portal and Measure K funding all in an attempt to keep you informed.
