Schools with Tomorrow Inside - Update from Superintendent Dr. Stella Kemp

On Saturday, a Special Board meeting was held for the Board of Trustees to take an in depth facilities tour of the District’s seven schools. The Board was accompanied by the Superintendent, Associate Superintendent Business Services, facilities, construction and architectural experts, to see the sites first hand to better inform their decision making at their Special Meeting on February 15th , the purpose of which is to act on the recommendations of the 7-11 Facilities Committee regarding school consolidation and designation of surplus property.

In attendance for this first-time organized tour were Board members John Marinos, Andrew Mason, Dr. Henry Sanchez and Kevin Martinez.

The meeting on February 15th is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Allen Elementary School.
