Please join us on Wednesday, May 30th for a Sea Change SMC stakeholder meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to share next steps on sea level rise and climate change preparedness, gather feedback, hear updates on current efforts, and determine a process for continued collaboration.

Based on the input we received from all of you over the last year, we presented the County Board of Supervisors with the Climate Change Preparedness Action Plan for San Mateo County which they accepted at the March Board meeting. We look forward to going over the details of the Plan with you at the meeting. A key action step includes working collaboratively with cities, public agencies and community partners to facilitate planning and adaptation for sea level rise and other climate change impacts.
