Seeking for Volunteers to help distribute food to those in need!

Peninsula Food Runners (PFR) Organization is a non profit that services San Mateo and Santa Clara County. PFR’s mission is to reduce food waste and diverting good donated food to those in need. In order to accomplish this, we need volunteers who want to help alleviate these issues.

Our volunteers pick up excess perishable and prepared food from donors such as restaurants, caterers, bakeries, hospitals, event planners, corporate cafeterias, etc.. and deliver it directly to shelters and neighborhood programs that feed the hungry. Our volunteers deliver over 35,000 meals to people in need every week.

We are looking for volunteers who can help deliver food to the shelters usually takes 1 hour a week.

Also have High School volunteer opportunities everyday.  M-F.   A win-win for volunteers, donors, recipients and environment.
