Storm Drain Adopters Sought For San Bruno CA

YOUR hands can be on the end of the rake shown in the photo above.

The San Bruno CA street's department will accept ALL volunteers who adopt a storm drain near their residence. All you need to do as "A Storm Drain Adopter" is remove and pick up leaves as they collect on or around your "Adopted Storm Drain" and place them in your green compost container for Recology San Bruno to pick up.

The City can not sweep every street every day (cars parked at the curbs you know); so they appreciate everyone who helps keep the rain water flowing.

Keeping rain water flowing also cuts down on the possibility of flooding. Think of your neighbors.
