In Case You Missed It

1. At Tuesday's City Council meeting, the San Francisco International Airport gave a presentation on their ongoing multi-year West of Bayshore project to protect the endangered California garter snake and the Red-Legged frog.  Protecting these two species curtails SFO's ability to do much in the way of maintaining the flood control capabilities of Cupid Row. The presentation, which contains SFO's contact information should you desire additional answers, is attached. The two fences shown in the presentation, we were told, do not represent the fences they are actually proposing to install. No details were given about exactly where the fences would be installed.

2. The council this week also approved a three-month permit for the San Bruno Chamber of Commerce to hold its Sunday farmers market at the new Tanforan mall starting in late May. Full details can be obtained by contacting the chamber at 650-588-0180.
