March 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the San Mateo County History Museum Auxiliary will present the fifth in their series of programs featuring notable women of the Peninsula. This year will focus on women entrepreneurs, with reenactors portraying women in various and unexpected roles: a stage coach driver, a laundry woman, an Edwardian movie actress and others from more recent times. Refreshments will be served after the performance, and the audience will be welcome to meet the reenactors.

The program is free with the price of admission to the Museum: $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. The San Mateo County History Museum is housed within the County’s 1910 “old” courthouse at 2200 Broadway in downtown Redwood City. The program will take place in historic Courtroom “A.” For information go to www.historysmc.org or call 650-299-0104.

The “Notable Women” presentation is a part of the Museum’s Courthouse Docket series and is sponsored by Cypress Lawn Cemetery.
