On Thursday, May 31, 2018 at approximately 12:20 A.M., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of a solo-vehicle collision on Sharp Park Road, just west of State Highway 35 (Skyline Blvd).
The driver of the vehicle, 29 year old San Francisco resident Albert Smith, lost control of his vehicle and struck the center median curb and the center median guard rail. The result of the collision caused major damage to the vehicle, but Smith was not injured. The investigation also revealed Smith was driving under the influence of alcohol and impaired. Smith was arrested for DUI and later released to a local sobering facility after signing a promise to appear.
