New Business Orientation
Date/Time: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 10:00 a.m. to 11:00.a.m.

This one-hour session is designed for owners of new businesses. Our knowledgeable staff will be available to answer your sales and use tax questions as it relates to your business/industry. These are informal sessions where we will give a brief demonstration of our resources and how to file your taxes online. We can also make time for questions and answers.

Basic Sales and Use Tax Seminar
Date/Time: Thursday, March 15, 2018 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This is an instructor-led class on how to file online, or file a paper return if online filing is not available or are exempt from filing electronically. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions and any documentation relating to the upcoming return period. Additionally, instructors will cover the following areas of supporting and reporting exempt sales, using a resale certificate, determining what taxable and nontaxable labor is, and maintaining adequate records.
