Help is Needed: Serve on the 2018-19 San Mateo County Civil Grand Jury

The San Mateo County Superior Court is accepting applications to serve on the Civil Grand Jury term that runs from 7/1/18 to 6/30/19. The Civil Grand Jury performs a vital independent citizen watchdog function over County and City governments. It chooses its own investigation subjects and publishes reports that highlight findings and make recommendations for improvement. This is a volunteer position.

Interested San Mateo County citizens able to commit an estimated 15 to 20 hours/week to this effort should apply by March 29, 2018. Successful applicants will be interviewed by the Grand Jury Judge and entered into a lottery to determine the 19 members plus alternates.
