The ‘walk’shop will involve a walking tour along the entire stretch of San Mateo Avenue starting at Posy Park, gathering feedback along the way and finally ending at the corner of El Camino and San Mateo Avenue to gather more input. During the two-hour tour, staff will listen to feedback and concerns about the existing conditions of the streetscape.

The San Mateo Avenue Streetscape Plan will help to implement the community’s vision as set forth in the San Bruno General Plan and Transit Corridors Plan to create a more vibrant, more active, and more walkable street. The Plan will improve the safety, function, aesthetics, and sustainability of Downtown San Bruno through a unified streetscape design.
