It was a busy and exciting day at Parkside today (3/4/18).

An entire team of volunteers spent the day getting ready for Wednesday's radio conversation with astronaut Scott Tingle on board the International Space Station.

We set up antennas on the roof, and radios inside the gym, tested the equipment, and even monitored the ISS and several other satellites as they flew overhead.

Wednesday we'll be back with a gym full of Parkside students, faculty and staff so the students can ask the astronaut their questions.

Many thanks to Andrew, Andrew, Chris, Janet, John, John, Rick, Ryan, Robert, Summer, Tony, and Walt: proving once again that many hands make light work.
