'Well Below Average' Temps Expected In San Bruno: Weekend Weather Forecast

SAN BRUNO, CA – Planning your weekend around the Bay Area? Though we're nearing summer, you can still expect some cooler temperatures.

"Temperatures will remain well below seasonal averages, especially inland, through the upcoming weekend," the National Weather Service said on Friday. "In addition, there is a slight chance of showers across the northern portion of the region Saturday with possible thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon."

Come next week, a gradual warming trend is expected.

As for San Bruno in particular, here's what the NWS says you can expect weather-wise:

Sunny, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. West wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. West northwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Sunday
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Mostly clear, with a low around 51.
