Woman Reports Sexual Battery On Peninsula Trail, Police Say
Police say the incident happened on the Sister Cities Park Trail.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — An 18-year-old woman was allegedly sexually battered Monday evening in South San Francisco when an unknown suspect riding a scooter approached her from behind, slapped her butt, pulled on her sleeve and fled the scene, police said.
The assault occurred at 6:18 p.m. on the Sister Cities Park Trail near South Magnolia Avenue.
After the assault, the victim followed the suspect and he was last seen headed west on Mayfair Avenue near Cherry Avenue.

Police described him as a Hispanic man in his 20s, roughly 5 feet 4 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black tank top and Red Bull hat with maroon pants, according to police.
