The San Mateo County History Museum will present Maestra Lourdes Morantes, Casa Círculo Cultural’s art teacher, who will conduct a workshop instructing participants on how to paint Catrinas.

These iconic Mexican cultural figures, representing death, are part of the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival.

The workshop will take place September 9, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. and is designed for elementary and advanced participants. There is a $20 fee for non-members and $15 for Museum members. Reservations are required. Call 650-299-0104, ext. 231 or e-maileducation@historysmc.org.
