A Clean, Well-Lighted, Empty Place

Before the train tracks were elevated above Holly Street, the small strip mall on the southeast corner of Holly and Old County Road, Holly Square, was more fashionable.

Although access was trimmed by the project, there's still a group of hardy business men and women who produce quality food.

There's an empty space between Emelina's Restaurant (Peruvian) and El Maguey Taqueria (Mexican) that used to house a Cleaner's. Up at the corner is Bewesnick Pho and Crepe House.
