A Night of Goodbyes and New Beginnings at City Council Meeting

Randy Royce, Brad Lewis, and Fire Chief Doug Frye will say goodbye as they step down from their posts tonight.

Tonight’s city council meeting will see the departure of several familiar faces, and the arrival of a couple of new ones, as the city says goodbye and embarks on a new politica journey.

City council members Randy Royce and Brad Lewis will say goodbye tonight at the San Carlos city council meeting and step down from the dais, marking a significant shift in the political landscape of the city.

In their place will step Mark Olbert and Ron Collins, the two men elected this past November.

Both Royce and Lewis are expected to give farewell presentations at the council meeting.

Fire Chief Doug Frye will also be stepping down from his post and offering a few words to the city council tonight before doing so.

The new San Carlos City Council – Mayor Andy Klein, Vice-Mayor Grocott, Bob Grassilli, Mark Olbert, and Ron Collins – will reconvene and begin discussing issues for the first time as a team.
