In The Arts: Chas Acting School Offers Summer Classes

The Chas Professional Actor’s Conservatory is offering summer classes beginning June 13.

Writing and on/off camera performing will be taught by an experienced instructor with decades of experience in film and stage acting and production.

Summer Schedule:

 Scene/monologue class: Students will learn all aspects of performing short scenes with partners or doing a monologue and then performing in a showcase in their final class.

 6/13-6/17 1-week 9am -12pm or 1pm -- 4pm

On/camera class: Students will learn how to act in front of a camera for film and television as well as auditioning technique, doing slates, cold readings, commercials and short scenes.

 6/20-6/24 1-week 9am -12pm or 1pm -- 4pm

Script writing class: Students will learn to write a film/TV script and perform it with their cast mates.

 6/27-7/1 1-week 9am -12pm or 1pm -- 4pm

 Scene/monologue AND On/camera class:

 7/5-7/15 2-weeks 9am -12pm or 1pm -- 4pm

 Scene/monologue AND On/camera class:

 7/18-7/22 1-week 9am -12pm or 1pm -- 4pm
