POLL: Plastic Bag Ban: Yay or Nay?

San Carlos Patch wants to know what you think about a ban on styrofoam cups and plastic bags in the City of Good Living.

The Council voted 4-to-1 in favor of the ban at this Monday's council meeting; Matt Grocott was the nay vote.

"At the August 29, 2011 City Council Strategic Plan Retreat, the objective to work on a Polystyrene Food Container Ordinance was included in the current Strategic Plan," city records said. Since then, the council has met several times regarding the ban, finally voting in favor of it this week. But what do you think?

The ban will take place on July 1.
