The Rotary Club of San Carlos will hold a dual event on Sunday, May 18 in conjunction with the Hometown Festivities held in Burton Park this weekend.
Rotary gets the morning started with a 5K/10K Fun Run/Walk that starts at 8 a.m. This is a timed/sanctioned race for serious runners and a fun event for the entire family out for a leisurely walk specifically marked through the streets of San Carlos. Tickets are $37 and the entree fee includes a ticket to the pancake breakfast. Sign-ups are conducted a the end of the circle on Chestnut Street across from the Youth Center.
The Pancake Breakfast is from 8:30-11 a.m. and is held in Burton Park out in the left field of the baseball diamond on the corner of Brittan Avenue and Cedar Street. Tickets are $7 per person and sold at the door.
