San Carlos' Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

Don't let Friday's weather fool you. It's about to change.

SAN CARLOS, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 65. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday Night
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. West wind 8 to 13 mph.

Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. West wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 71. Light and variable wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 56.
