Suspect Arrested in Shooting Death of San Carlos Woman

U.S. Marshals arrested 24-year-old Endicott McCray in Atlanta, on an outstanding warrant.

U.S. Marshals Wednesday morning arrested a suspect in Atlanta for the fatal shooting of a San Carlos woman Sunday in Austin, Texas, Austin police said.

Marshals arrested 24-year-old Endicott McCray in Atlanta, on an outstanding warrant. McCray was wanted in the death of 30-year-old Teqnika Moultrie, who was in a crowd in Austin's downtown area when McCray allegedly opened fire at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of East Sixth Street.

Moultrie died at the scene, according to police. The shooting injured four other people. Three of the survivors
were taken to a hospital, while the fourth was treated at the scene, police said.

Two of the three have since been released from the hospital while the third remains there in stable condition, police said.

Moultrie worked as a bus driver for the Sequoia Union High School District in Redwood City, according to the district's website.
