A runaway winner with more than 86 percent of the vote, The Office, located on El Camino Real, is a local favorite to watch sporting events, drink a cold beer, and eat some classic pub food.

Owned by Steve Hicks and Dave Parks, The Office is fills a void on the peninsula like no other pub around, blending the old traditions of pubs with modern touches of sophistication, to make for an inspired space.

Live music echoes from the outdoor patio on Thursdays, as patrons gather around marble fire pits. There’s even a regulation sized Bocce ball court out back available to rent for $15 an hour, and it comes with a free pitcher of PBR.

The second runner up was Irish favorite Clooney’s Pub, an older and more traditional bar and pub to spend St. Patrick’s Day.
