The Olive Crush To Feature Award-Winning Olive Oil

The neighborhood store will display honored olive oil.

The Olive Crush has one of the most extensive collections of olive oil in the Bay Area, and now it can add to its list the multi-award winning olive oil at the 2011 Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition.

“The olive oils won an unprecedented two Best of Show Awards, three Best of Class awards and five gold medals,” said Miriam Schaffer, a publicist for Veronica Foods, makers of the olive oil. “It is the first time a producer from the Southern Hemisphere has achieved such remarkable results.”

The San Carlos store – located downtown on Laurel Street -will feature three of the award winning extra virgin olive oils from the Los Angeles competition.
