Man Reports a Random Beat-Down

At 1:23 a.m. Saturday Dec. 14, a confused caller reported battery near the cross streets of North El Camino Real and Avenida Palizada. The caller said a random man walked up to him, beat him up, and then ran away. Deputies arrived, however the mugger was not found.

At 11:36 a.m. Friday Dec. 13, a worried caller asked deputies to investigate a person in the 600 block of Camino del Los Mares. The caller said a man in a parking lot was laying face down and bleeding from his head.

At 6:57 p.m. Friday Dec. 13, deputies received a call about a disturbance in the 400 block of Avenida Pico. The caller said a man in a blue jacket was screaming and harassing customers at a local Pick Up Stix.

At 2:17 a.m. Saturday Dec. 14, a caller reported a hit and run in the 200 block of Mariposa. The caller said a woman driving a black compact car had hit a parked Scion. Deputies located and arrested the 27-year-old woman. She has since been released from jail.
