City Launches Site-Specific Park Master Plan Updates for Five Parks

Public Survey Now Open & Community Workshops Scheduled

April 27, 2021…San Clemente, California… Your input is important! The Beaches, Parks & Recreation Department is updating its park master plans for Bonito Canyon Park, Linda Lane Park, Richard T. Steed Memorial Park/Ralph’s Skate Court/Baron Von Willard Dog Park, San Gorgonio Park, and San Luis Rey Park, and needs your help! The Park Master Plans will set the framework for decision-makers in the planning, maintenance, development, or rehabilitation of current or future park amenities.

The City is asking the community to provide valuable input by completing the survey online at www.san-clemente.org/parkplans. The online survey will close on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 5 p.m.

The City will also be conducting Virtual Community Workshops to discuss park amenities and opportunities and receive feedback, scheduled as follows:
  • Bonito Canyon, Linda Lane, and San Luis Rey: Tuesday, May 11, 5-8 p.m.
  • San Gorgonio and Richard T. Steed Memorial: Thursday, May 13, 5-8 p.m.
