NOTICE OF TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURES DUE TO SO CAL GAS TRANSMISSION MAIN REPLACEMENT ON N. EL CAMINO REAL AT AVENIDA PICO

August 7, 2020…San Clemente, California… As part of a major gas transmission line replacement by So Cal Gas on N. El Camino Real at Avenida Pico, there will be lane closures on N. EL Camino Real.

The proposed work will start on August 11, 2020 at 6 p.m. and should be complete by 6 a.m. on August 12, 2020. However, unforeseen conditions may result in a longer closure.

The work will result in full closure of the two left turn pockets from N. El Camino Real onto Avenida Pico and one lane in each direction on N. El Camino Real. There will be one lane remaining open in each direction on N. El Camino Real.

Traffic delays may be expected. Use alternate route and avoid the construction zone if possible. Detour will be provided for access onto Avenida Pico.
