The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is pleased to announce new resources available for our partners to share. Earthquake Warning California promotes essential emergency resources to help Californians stay safe in the event of an earthquake. Earthquake Warning California is the nation's first statewide earthquake warning system and includes no-cost resources such as the MyShake App, Android Earthquake Alerts, and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs).

In order to make it easy for organizations and individuals to share information about Earthquake Warning California, Cal OES has created a series of toolkits that can be copied, customized, and shared with friends, family, coworkers, clients, and the community. Please check out our newest toolkits available for use this winter:

General Audiences Toolkit

Municipalities Toolkit

All toolkits are available on our website in English, Spanish, Chinese (simplified and Mandarin), Korean, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. The website also includes social media graphics that can be downloaded and shared.

We are also working on resources that will be available early next year for key industries to help promote Earthquake Warning California in March for Tsunami Awareness Week and in April for California Earthquake Preparedness Month. To stay up to date with the latest news, toolkits, and information, visit our website: earthquake.ca.gov.

Cal OES is also offering virtual presentations on Earthquake Warning California and the early warning system for California-based organizations and communities.
