Suspension of Street Sweeping Parking Tickets
December 10, 2020…San Clemente, California…Based on California State’s most recent stay-at-home order, effective December 13th, 2020, the City of San Clemente will suspend street sweeping regulations to help the San Clemente community to stay at home during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency. This means that, until further notice, starting on December 13th, 2020, tickets will not be issued for vehicles that are parked on public streets during posted street sweeping time restrictions.

Be advised, street sweeping is an important method of reducing pollution to the ocean, therefore street sweeping will still occur, weather permitting. Residents are encouraged to move parked vehicles on street sweeping days and times to the extent possible to allow the street sweeper to clean the street. Residents who have signed up for the free courtesy street sweeping reminders will continue to receive those reminders.
