SURF REPORT: Fun Stuff Still Here From Wednesday

A run of fun surf sticks around!

Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.

Well, don't be bummed out if  you missed out on the action yesterday. Yep, we're seeing another day of fun and rippable waves!

We've got some nice and glassy conditions from the start, with a combination of energy. There's a bit more south southwest swell today and not as much of the west northwest energy. That recipe is offering lots of workable lines, with some nice, wedgy corners.

Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to chest-high, with those south facing focal points pulling some shoulder-high sets.

Checking the tides: At 8:23 this morning it climbs up to a 4.7 high which will have many spots pretty slow and a bit mushy early to mid-morning. Things should definitely improve once that tide turns around and eventually drops to a 0.3 low at 2:38 this afternoon.

If you're planning on paddling, a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 58 degrees.

See ya' in the water!
