SURF REPORT: Fun Surf Tuesday; Grab a Session

Get out there and enjoy the fun size surf!

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.

Well, it just might be worth showing up to the office a little late! Yep, we're seeing the continued playful size surf out there today.

It's mostly clean and glassy from the start, with a mixture of energy in the water.  There's mainly holding south southwest swell and a tad of northwest wind and groundswell underneath it.

That recipe is providing some racy sectiony lines, with plenty of rippable shoulders. Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to chest-high, with the top south facing breaks pulling an occasional plus set.

Taking a look at the tides: at 5:01 this morning it dropped to a 0.0 low which will have some spots lacking water early to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.7 high at 11:13 later this morning and then drops once again to a 1.5 low at 4:27 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, well that water temperature has climbed up quite a bit, so you'll need no more than a 3/2 full, with it averaging between 62 and 63 degrees.  See ya in the water!
