SURF REPORT: Good Surf Continues

The Pacific off San Clemente looks clean and glassy with chest-high waves.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.

Well, it's looking really playful out there this morning.  So, you'll probably want to squeeze in a session at some point during the day!

We're starting off with some nice and glassy conditions this morning.  As far as the surf goes, we've got the continued mixture swells in the water. There's some decent northwest energy and some south southwest swell in the water.

That recipe is offering some fast broken-up lines, with plenty of good shoulders to pick off.  Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to chest-high, with the top combo breaks pulling an occasional plus set.

Taking a look at the tides: At 10:54 later this morning it drops to a 1.0 low which will have some spots lacking water mid to late morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.5 high at 5:50 this evening.

If you're going to grab a session, a 3/2 fullsuit is more than enough, with the water temperature really warming up in this neck of the woods and averaging between 63 and 65 degrees.

Have fun out there!
