SURF REPORT: Low Surf, Small Stuff

Back to the small stuff!

Good Tuesday morning surfers I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report. Well, if you like the small stuff, then it might be worth grabbin a quick session, otherwise don't put paddling at the top of your to-do-list!

The conditions are mostly clean from the start, with a minor mixture of energy in the water. We're seeing some northwest swell and some residual southerly swell.

That recipe is giving us some pretty soft lines, with a few workable corners, but you'll want to break out a small wave board of some sort. Most spots in San Clemente are pulling knee- to waist-high waves, with the standout combo breaks seeing maybe a plus set.

Checking those tides: At 11:54 later this morning the tide drains out to a 0.1 low which will have many spots lacking water mid-day.  The tide then pushes back up to a 3.9 high at 6:45 this evening.

If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temp taking a little dip and averaging between 57 and 58 degrees.
