SURF REPORT: Some Chest-High Waves, Warm Water

The surf looks more inviting this Tuesday.

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff, with your San Clemente Patch surf report. Well, there's still a decent dose of energy in the water and thankfully those conditions are making it more motivating.

It's starting off fairly clean, with a fair amount of mostly northwest windswell and some minor south southwest energy in the mix. That's delivering this stretch of sand with some kinda soft, sectiony lines, with a few steep shoulders to snag.

Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to stomach-high, with the top combo breaks pulling some chest-high sets.

Taking a look at the tides: At 9:59 later this morning it drops to a 0.2 low which will have many spots lacking water and on the inconsistent side early to mid-morning. The tide eventually climbs up to a 4 foot high at 5:10 this evening.

If you're going to grab a session, the water temperature is feeling pretty nice, so you'll want to wear no more than a 3/2 fullsuit, with it hanging between 62 and 64 degrees.  See ya in the water!
