SURF REPORT: Wednesday Waves Still Good, but Losing Energy
Similar size surf is on tap for Wednesday.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.
Well, it's losing a little energy, but you can still find some fun ones out there. You can probably break out just about any board, too!
The conditions are mostly clean and glassy from the start, with a continued mix of energy in the water. We're seeing mainly south southwest swell and some fairly small northwest wind and groundswell.

That recipe is making for some racy sectiony lines, with some fun, workable corners. Most spots in San Clemente are hanging in the knee- to stomach-high range, with the top breaks pulling a few chest-high sets.
Taking a look at the tides: At 5:39 this morning, it drained out to a 0.0 low, which will have many spots lacking water early to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.4 high at 11:54 later this morning and then drops again to a 1.8 low at 4:49 this afternoon.

If you're going to grab a session, you'll be fine in a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 62 degrees. See ya in the water!
