The San Clemente pier is open with restrictions amid the coronavirus reopening of Orange County.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — The reopening of San Clemente continues this week, with everything from pier walks to pickleball. Restrictions are posted, and residents are back out an exercising once again.
This scene of the San Clemente pier with its new restrictions was captured by local photographer, Alan Gibby, in Patch's Photo of the Week.
The pylons were added to ensure the safety of walkers, showing the two-way travel.

"Individuals should stay to the right when traveling the pier," the city said. "Those moving toward the ocean should travel along the north side, while those returning to ward the shore should travel along the south side."
If you visit the pier, remember, there is no fishing as of yet. No leaning on the rails or sitting, either, and please, no dogs.
