SVCS Keeps Families Moving Forward

The Department of Outreach and Service and the International Department at Saddleback Valley Christian Schools, in partnership with Families Forward, recently concluded an all-school food drive to help replenish the pantries at the Irvine-based organization.

Families Forward was established to serve the needs of homeless families and families at risk of becoming homeless.

The food drive was the first of three to be conducted this year. The drive followed a very successful Christmas stocking campaign that provided 82 filled stockings for needy families in the local community. SVCS has been working with Families Forward for the past two years collecting, organizing and distributing food to families in need during economically challenging times.
