Local Residents: Help Save the Trees at Lantern Bay Park!
Please join us at Lantern Bay Park on Saturday, October 17, from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m., to show support and stay connected and informed on how we can save the 70 trees from being removed.
Note: The City Council was going to vote on this matter on Oct. 20, and that has been pushed out to November 17 as they are now trying to work a plan to save the trees. But we still need you to show up to ensure the vote goes in favor of saving the trees. Come to the park on Saturday the 17th and come to the City Council meeting on November 17th.
These trees are part of what makes our community special, providing shade, beauty, habitat for wildlife, and environmental benefits we cannot easily replace. Our voices matter. Please show your support for preserving these trees, and urge City Council to choose a path that protects our park and its natural beauty for future generations.
Let’s stand together to save our trees!
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors.
