Car Parked Sideways in Traffic Confounds

At 1:36 p.m. Saturday, a passerby reported a suspicious car in the middle of Rancho Viejo Road north of the Marbella community. According to the report, a black Cadillac sedan was parked in the middle of the No. 2 lane sideways. There was no one in the car and all the windows were down. The informant said it was possible the car had hit the curb.

At 5:12 p.m. , Friday, a call about a family dispute in the 31500 block of Los Rios Street resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old man. He remains in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 4:05 p.m. Friday, a call came in to the sheriff’s department about a drunken driver near the Del Obispo Street-Calle Aspero intersection. A 44-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence.

At 8:57 p.m. Thursday, deputies made a second trip to a laundry room in the 27500 block of Paseo Toluca to see about a disturbance. No weapons were found at the scene.
