Concerts Return to Library with Longtime Favorite Ricardo Lemvo

Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca have played their Afro-Cuban rhythms at the "so many times it's hard to count."

During the 21 years of the Multicultural Arts Series, guests have continually asked Lemvo to bring his pan-African styles to San Juan.

On Saturday night, after a brief hiatus, musical performances returned to the library. Lemvo lit up the courtyard, where guests swayed and danced.

Three musical performances are scheduled at the library through September:

Roger appeared here in another life and is coming back on his own with great Nuevo Flamenco guitar & band

Sept. 17
LOAFER'S GLORY
Herb Pedersen and Bill Bryson team up with a new bluegrass band to continue in the tradition of the Laurel Canyon Ramblers.

Sept. 24
JULIO MONTERO
Julio is extraordinary with the Paraguayan harp and is long overdue
to put on another great show at the library. 

No advance tickets are sold. Entrance can be purchased at the door on the night of the performance. Seating is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12.

Concert times are 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
