The city’s Development Services Department’s Building Division staff have just released the April 2013 Building Activity Report. That report continues to show strong economic growth in construction. During the most recent month, the city issued 103 building permits with a total valuation of $1,040,000. For the current 2013 calendar year, the city has issued 928 building permits with a total valuation of $54,778,000. The total value of permits for April 2013 is 190 percent compared to the total permit value for April 2012
