Cox Customers with TiVo Roamio and Premier DVR Now Have Access To On Demand
TV channels, on-demand and streaming combined into single box, searchable by single guide
Cox Communications announced that customers can use the TiVo Roamio and Premier DVR to not only access the Cox TV channel lineup, and streaming apps but can now also access Cox ON DEMAND content. With a single remote, Cox customers can search content across platforms, record up to four shows at once and 75 hours of HD programming.
TiVo customers who subscribe to Cox’s Advanced TV and its high speed Internet Essential tier or higher will now have access to the entire Cox TV channel lineup, full on-demand library and select subscription streaming services to which they may subscribe, all from their TiVo Roamio or Premier receiver.
“We’ve heard from our customers that they want the choice to expand their options when it comes to viewing content and this certainly delivers that,” said Suzanne Schlundt, vice president of Marketing, Cox Communications. “The ability to search and discover content across multiple platforms on a single on screen guide is the ultimate all-in-one TV-watching experience.”
