Expressions of the Soul: A community Choir and Orchestra Concert

Visit St. Margaret’s Episcopal School’s new Performing Arts Center and enjoy the grand acoustics of the 450-seat Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater in a delightful evening of classical music performed by five outstanding community choir and orchestra groups. This unique event is the first of its kind in Orange County and will deliver a treat for music lovers and newcomers alike.


Renowned Pianist Michael Fennelly will join an all-star group of instrumentalists and concert directors. Two Steinway Concert Model D Grand Pianos will be featured during the Concerto performance by Michael Fennelly and Adam Bravo, one a St. Margaret’s instrument as a part of the school’s All-Steinway Distinction for Excellence and the second on loan from Steinway & Sons for the performance.

The groups will perform independently and in several grand ensembles on the Hurlbut Theater stage.

The evening will also feature Jeffrey Sewell, renowned plein air artist, whose expressionistic landscapes delight the eyes of the beholder. His artwork will be presented during intermission and available in unique silent auction. Student and faculty artwork will also be exhibited.
