The names of three active volunteers — Mike Darnold, Matt Gaffney and Jean Vincenzi — will be added to San Juan Capistrano’s Wall of Recognition Thursday.
The program was started 11 years ago to recognize individuals who contribute to the city through service.
Darnold, a 35-year resident, has been active in service clubs and youth organizations.
Gaffney has served on city boards and commissions since 1986. He has also volunteered with the Historical Society and Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort.
Vincenz, a 32-year resident, has been involved with the San Juan Capistrano Friends of the Library and currently serves as president.
