This program emphasizes the journey real food takes from “Farm to Fork.” Beginning with an exploration of The Ecology Center’s veggie garden, and ending with the preparation and enjoyment of small-plate meals.
This month, we are firing up the cob-oven and teaming up with Catherine McKnight, and local breadmaker Chris Blank, to make homemade veggie pizzas. Learn the basics of food preparation including vegetable harvesting and preparation techniques, yeast cultivation, sourdough breadmaking, and cooking skills - equipping yourself to make healthy, self-sufficient food choices!
