Grand Theft Backflow Device?

At 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, a caller made a grand theft report in the 27700 block of Paseo del Sol. According to the report, someone stole a backflow device from the informant’s water system.

At 12:43 p.m. Tuesday, a disturbance was reported in the 31400 block of La Calera Street. According to the report, deputies requested a technician to take a blood sample, then arrested a 39-year-old man who remains in custody. No bail amount is listed.

At 8:49 p.m. Monday, a hit-and-run into a parked car was reported by an informant near the Del Obispo-Alipaz streets intersection. According to the report, the accident caused damage to the guard rail at the end of Alipaz Street near Camino del Avion. Deputies were able to make an arrest in connection with the hit-and-run. A 40-year-old man was cited and released.

At 8:33 p.m. Monday, someone phoned the sheriff’s department to report a dispute in the 32000 block of Paseo Carolina. According to the report, a landlord and tenant were arguing about a lost iPod.

At 7:26 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported that found property in the 27200 block of Paseo Espada. The caller said someone left a backpack at her front door. It was full of trash, so she disposed of it.
