How can Fruit Trees Change your Life?
Workshop teaching how to sustainably grow your own fruit trees, which leads to a healthier environment and life.

Your own fruit trees provide the freshest and tastiest fruit an arms distance away from home and also shade during the hot sunny summer months keeping you and your house cool. Believe it or not, they provide improved habitat and biodiversity in your own backyard. With a fruit tree you are basically improving your own house, your local neighborhood, and the whole environment. You are contributing to a more sustainable future.
You can multiply the number and diversity of fruit trees in your backyard yourself. Growing a fruit tree from seed will not give you the same type of tree it came from. The whole genetics of the tree will be different, leading to different properties of the fruit, most of the time inferior. By learning how to graft your own fruit tree you will be able to grow and reproduce your own fruit trees for you and your friends and family.
Grafting is the best and only way to start your own backyard orchard!
