Man Robs Chase Bank in San Juan Capistrano

The suspect passes a note, indicating he was armed.

A man robbed Chase Bank at 31972 Camino Capistrano around 1 p.m. today, officials said.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for a male suspect, Caucasian, around 25 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches, weighing about 165, wearing a white baseball cap and a hoodie.

According to Lt. Jeff Hallock, the suspect passed a note to a teller, indicating he had a gun.

“At this time, we have not linked this suspect to other specific robberies in the area,” said Laura Eimiller, FBI spokeswoman. “However, are continuing to investigate.”
