Mariachi groups from all across Southern California took the stage in the scenic courtyard at Saturday.  

They performed before a large audience and a panel of judges to compete for cash prizes. The group awarded first place took home $2,000.  

The competition was presented by the Thomas J. and Erma Jean Tracy Family Foundation and Mission San Juan Capistrano.
